Bar Manager

Messina Modern Italian Kitchen is a high-volume, modern Italian restaurant steps from Climate Pledge Arena. We re looking for a Bar Manager who wants to call Messina home a creative, grounded leader who can work with what we have, elevate a strong team, and run a smart, profitable bar program.
This is not just a bartender role . This is a leadership position with ownership, consistency, and long-term opportunity.
Compensation & Schedule
$35-$55 per hour
Guaranteed 40 hours/week
Set schedule: Tuesday Saturday or Wednesday Sunday
What You'll Do
Lead a strong bar team with kindness, respect, and clear expectations
Drive high-volume sales while maintaining speed and quality
Manage inventory, ordering, par levels, and cost control
Track numbers, minimize waste, and make data-driven decisions
Bring creative thinking to cocktails, systems, and problem-solving
Set the tone for hospitality for guests and staff

What We re Looking For
Bar management or leadership experience in a high-volume setting
Strong understanding of cocktails, wine, beer, and bar operations
Comfortable crunching numbers and managing inventory
A calm, confident leader who elevates the team
MAST Permit & WA Food Handler (or ability to obtain)
