Chemical Engineer
Key Role:
Perform professional engineering and scientific work involving chemical processes utilized by industries and scientific technologies to produce products and systems. Apply specific functional knowledge and working or general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance. May review or guide activities of more junior employees.
Basic Qualifications: - Experience with data analysis tools such as Python, MATLAB, or Excel
- Experience with statistical modeling
- Knowledge of chemical reactions, processes, and thermodynamics
- Ability to assemble prototypes for large caliber munitions
- Ability to advise on testing events and provide recommendations to technical teams
- Ability to brief stakeholders and provide recommendations as necessary
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
Additional Qualifications: - Experience with database management systems
- Ability to work in a noisy environment
- Secret clearance
- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
