Chief of Staff

Location: Chicago, IL or Kansas City, MO

What You’ll Do

• Partner closely with the executive team to prioritize initiatives and drive execution
• Organize critical information and insights to support fast, effective decision-making
• Lead and manage strategic projects from concept through completion
• Act as a bridge between leadership and functional teams to ensure alignment and accountability
• Develop and track key performance metrics, dashboards, and productivity insights
• Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Prepare executive-level presentations for leadership, board, and key stakeholders
• Support strategic planning and help translate goals into actionable roadmaps
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to drive efficiency and scale
• Assess risk, cost, and impact of new initiatives and special projects

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field (MBA strongly preferred)
• 7+ years of experience partnering with senior leaders in roles such as Chief of Staff, strategy, operations, consulting, corporate finance, or investment banking
• Strong financial and analytical skills, including financial modeling
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and influence without authority
• Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to executive teams and boards
• Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling competing priorities
• A collaborative mindset with the confidence to challenge thinking and drive change
• Experience in private equity-backed or high-growth environments is a strong plus
