JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Step into the world of real estate with a program built to launch your career. The Greystar Summer Internship Program is a 10-week immersive experience where you’ll work on meaningful projects, develop in-demand skills, and connect with professionals shaping the future of multifamily housing.
As a Greystar intern, you’ll be hired into one of our core business functions—Development & Construction, Investment Management, Property Management, or Enterprise Services—and contribute directly to the work of that team. While your day-to-day role will focus on your assigned area, our curated programming will give you insight into all areas of our business, helping you understand the bigger picture of how we lead the industry.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Finance and Data Analytics Intern , you'll play a key role in supporting Greystar’s financial reporting processes. This position is responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports using Excel and Power BI, including the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards to deliver actionable insights to business leaders. The analyst will contribute to cash flow projections and analysis, assist with reporting hierarchy management, and support the preparation of financial reporting packages. In addition, this role will gain exposure to core accounting processes and financial packet preparation, providing a comprehensive understanding of data flow across the organization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to leverage data to drive financial performance and decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing Financial Reports via Excel & Power BI.

• Creating & Developing Power BI Reports & Dashboards.

• Cash Flow Projection & Analysis.

• Editing & Maintaining Reporting Hierarchies.

• Creating Process Documentation via AI.

• Learning & Understanding our Systems & how our Data Flows.

Qualifications:

• Ideally graduating December 2026.

• Preferred major: Broader Business / Information Systems / Analytics / Finance

• Curiosity and a desire to learn & grow.

• Quantitative background that demonstrates analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Excel, Power BI, & PowerPoint.

• High standard of accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and capability to articulate complex topics. Must work well in a team environment!

This internship offers a flexible remote format with the opportunity to work in a hybrid capacity if you are located near one of our Corporate Offices. This team is mainly remote, but we are based out of the Tampa office.

The compensation for this position is $24.20/hour.

Additional Compensation :

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

• Corporate Positions : In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.

• Onsite Property Positions : In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
