Job Description

Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Virtual Health Coach to support individuals in achieving their health and wellness goals through personalized guidance, education, and accountability. This role is fully remote and ideal for professionals who are passionate about preventive care, lifestyle change, and patient-centered coaching.

Duties

•Provide one-on-one virtual health coaching sessions via phone or video
•Support clients with goal setting related to nutrition, fitness, stress management, chronic disease prevention, and overall wellness
•Develop individualized wellness plans based on client needs and health assessments
•Track client progress and maintain accurate documentation
•Educate clients on healthy lifestyle behaviors and evidence-based practices
•Collaborate with healthcare providers or internal care teams as needed
•Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational policies

Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Health Education, Public Health, Nutrition, Exercise Science, or a related field (required)
•Certified Health Coach (NBC-HWC, ACE, NASM, or equivalent) (preferred)
•1–3 years of experience in health coaching, wellness programs, or patient education
•Strong communication and motivational interviewing skills
•Comfortable using virtual platforms, EHR systems, and digital health tools
•Reliable internet connection and a private workspace

Nice To Haves

•Experience working in virtual or telehealth environments
•Knowledge of chronic condition management (diabetes, hypertension, weight management, etc.)
•Bilingual abilities a plus
