You review the preventive maintenance plan, check status on key presses and other packaging equipment, and prioritize any urgent items from overnight. By mid-morning, you’re tracing signals on a control panel using schematics, verifying a pneumatic circuit, and deciding whether a repair should be completed in-house or handed off to a trusted contractor. In the afternoon, you validate the quality of vendor-performed work, update logs, and partner with production leaders to ensure uptime, safety, and efficiency are all trending in the right direction.
