Job Description

Guardian Home Care of NH is looking to add LNAs to our team. A LNA will assist residents in their homes with all daily activities. These activities include light housekeeping, bathing and dressing, cooking, shopping, toileting, medication reminders, and mobility assistance.

The ideal person for this position has the experience, compassion, and a solid understanding of all aspects of patient home health care.  

Responsibilities: 

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
• Prepare nutritious meals and follow modified diets as prescribed
• Support clients with activities of daily living such as mobility, toileting, and safe transfers
• Provide medication reminders according to the care plan
• Carry out treatments and therapies under RN direction and physician orders
• Report changes in condition or home environment promptly to the RN or office
• Document visits, activities, and mileage using our mobile app
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable home
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Respect each client’s cultural and religious practices
• Always promote and maintain a safe environment

Requirements: 

• High school diploma or GED required and current state license
• Safe driving record with reliable transportation and car insurance
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
