Job Duties: SHOVEL, THROW AND PLOW SNOW, SPREAD SALT TO SIDEWALKS AT COMMERCIAL, INSTITUTIONAL AND RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES. USE SHOVEL, BROOM, PLOW AND SALT SPREADER. APPLY DEICING PRODUCTS LIKE ROCK SALT, CALCIUM, ETC. BEFORE AND AFTER SNOW/SLEET EVENTS CLEAN OFF ALL EQUIPMENT, TRUCKS WITH POWER WASHER AND SOAP AND ANY OTHER RELATED TASKS. START TIMES VARY DUE TO UNPREDICTABLE NATURE OF SNOW AND ICE EVENTS. ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE, WILLING, QUALIFIED TO PERFORM WORK DESCRIBED AND MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR THE ENTIRE PERIOD SPECIFIED AND WORK THROUGHOUT ALL AREAS OF INTENDED EMPLOYMENT. WHEN IT IS NOT SNOWING OR ICING, SPLIT, STACK AND DELIVER FIREWOOD TO HOME OWNERS AND END USERS AS A HEAT SOURCE FOR THE WINTER SEASON AND ANY OTHER RELATED TASKS.
